The second leg of the 2011 Los Sueños Signature Billfish Series, presented jointly by Smith Merritt Insurance, Traveler’s Insurance and International Special Risks turned out to be a record catch with a release of over 30 fish per boat…officially breaking any and all Los Sueños tournament records on file! Congratulations anglers on releasing 1057 billfish, including 1033 sails and 24 marlin.
 
A two-tournament total of 1246 billfish, including 1142 and 104 marlin, were caught and released by 195 participating anglers, proving once again that Costa Rica is firmly positioned as one of the best sport fishing locations in the world! 
 
Entries for the 2012 Los Sueños Billfish Series are now being accepted.
